Forgiveness

Forgiveness. 

"Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness" - MW

This is what I keep telling myself.  We are supposed to forgive others, no matter what the incident may be.  The Bible tells us this so many times.  Why is it so hard to do so?

I want to forgive some for their pasts, for hurting me, but it's hard.  I know that I deserve better than to hold on to anger, guilt, and all the pain.  Forgiveness would let that wash away.  It doesn't mean I have to forget what happened or to even welcome those in my life.  Just forgive them for what they did.

I will pray.  Pray that I learn how to forgive in all situations.  I want to be happy and at peace, and I know forgiveness is the only way to conquer this.  Forgiveness means healing.  Forgiveness is a way to set you free.

Hiding Place #TKHidingPlace #FlyBy

Tori Kelly has put out an AMAZING new album, Hiding Place!

It will completely rock your socks off.  I’ve been listening to it around the clock on repeat. She has a fantastic voice and you can simply hear her deep love of music.  Kelly said, "One of the things I want for this album is for people to feel uplifted and encouraged when they listen...I want them to know that, no matter what they're going through, there's a God who loves them so much and so unconditionally, and there's always a reason to feel hope.  That's what I really believe in, and I want everyone out there to hear my heart."

One of the songs on the album she collaborated with 12-time Grammy winner, Kirk Franklin and he also produced the album.
The Hiding Place title came from one of her favorite psalms which says, "You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with songs of deliverance".  It's part that has always stuck with her.
