I'm not losing weight...oh my gosh!!!

Oh my gosh, I'm working out and I'm not losing any weight.  I am such a failure.  I might as well just give up on everything that I am doing.  I mean, what's the point, right?!

NO! Not at all.  That is not how things work around here.  Yes, it's frustrating, but bodies change in so many positive ways...and believe it or not, some of those ways don't actually involve (losing) weight. Yea, call me crazy.

I have been working out, following a calendar that goes along with my program and eating - eh, okay.  I won't lie, my nutrition has not been my strong point, but I am a work in progress and I acknowledge that.  It is something I need to focus more attention on and set stricter boundaries for myself.  I got it...I will fix it.  :)

But the point of all this is my body is CHANGING!  I take pictures.  I try to do so at least every couple of weeks to see if I can notice any changes.  I encourage everyone to do this when starting new programs in their life.  Taking measurements is also beneficial, because weight should NOT be the only thing that matters.  Why?  Because our body changes...fat goes away, muscles build and take place, our body shape overall just changes.

Let me show you some pictures.  To be honest, I am scared to show these, but I don't know if maybe they can help someone else down the road...if so, then I am happy.  My stomach has always been my most sensitive spot on my body for me.  By doing Country Heat workouts with Beachbody, I've been toning up my midsection.  No weight change has happened, but I see a difference...I feel better, too.

I also have been keeping track of each workout this week, as I started a new round of a workout.  I have been taking a picture after each workout, for accountability.  As I looked at my picture of my face, I noticed a huge difference.  I found a picture from just two months ago, in April, from the same angle, and couldn't believe how different I look - yet again, with NO WEIGHTLOSS!

So why am I telling you all this?? Don't freak out by numbers on a scale! Pay attention to your body.  Pay attention to how you feel.  Do your clothes fit different?  Are your energy levels better?  Is your confidence level increasing. GOOD!  It should be, because if you are taking care of yourself, then you are making steps toward being a better you and that's all that matters!

If you'd like to get started with Beachbody and be on my team, I'd LOVE to have you.  Just leave a comment or message me and I can give you all the info you need.

Keep rockin' out ladies and gents!  And if you need my help in any way, I am here for you.
Hugs and kisses! XOXO
